I have owned many dogs in my life, therefore I've been to many veterinarians. This is by far the best I've ever been to. It's like the John Hopkins of veterinary hospitals.
I took my 7 year old beagle here on Sunday because she was having labored breathing and panting. The Dr came in and told us he did a chest x-ray showing "a small area that looked like pneumonia" but it could be bronchitis. Wanted to keep her overnight but they refused to let me pay part of the bill on Sunday and the rest on Thursday. Sent her home with Prednisone, no antibiotic for the presumed pneumonia. They told us good luck as we carried our baby to the car. She died at home 24 hours later. These people care nothing about the animals,it's only money to them. I feel as if they liked to us and did not truly tell us exactly what was wrong with our baby.i will never recommend them to anyone.
I wish I could give no stars! I tried to order flea and tick meds from 1800petmeds. Staff would not let me do this because the meds could be counterfit!!! This is such a crock! I can not afford to pay 27.00 a month per pill!! They are very greedy!! Want to hold customer hostage! So upset, I can't even think straight!
Excellent service. They did everything they could to save my cat.. They do more research than any animal clinic I have been through. Thanks to dr.wood and doctor pushcarich
Very kind workers, after my original vet refused to take the time to see my cat who was in extremely poor health, New Horizon offered to take her. Unfortunately she passed on the way to NH; however they still took her and cremated her and gave me her ashes, gave me a plaque of her paw prints, and all signed and sent a card to me personally which meant a whole lot to me. I love being able to take my pets to a place who cares so much for the animals as well as the owners. They also take the time to explain everything and I've never seemed to feel rushed out the door like at the previous vet hospital I would go to. Overall a wonderful place. I always recommend them to my friends.
