After my grandparents passed away, I took in their dog and began to care for him. He has suffered from skin problems since he was a puppy, and I was trying to treat him, as best I could, with natural products. Since his symptoms were remaining my grandparents weren't able to instruct me on handling his health issues, I brought him in to be seen. The staff was pleasant and helpful, but I was very unhappy with the vet. She treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about because of the holistic remedies I tried. She examined him for maybe five minutes after I waited almost an hour and barely listened to me. She insisted his problem was flee bites no matter what I said and pushed expensive and unnecessary flea medications. I explained to her that I didn't bring enough money for one $65 flea pill, and said she didn't want to do any testing until she was certain I could pay for everything. My family spent $144 plus change total. I did everything she said. I gave him all of the medications as prescribed, doubled down on my flea treating, and treated all of my other pets. While on the pills his symptoms began to subside, and I was happy to see him feeling better. Flash forward one month. The medicines are now out of his system, and he is worse than before I even brought him to the doctor. She made me feel judged, dumb, poor and dirty. She only treated my dogs symptoms because she wouldn't listen to me. The building is clean, the staff is good, but the vet is arrogant and money hungry. I would not recommend her, and will not let her care for any of my animals again.

The whole staff is very kind and compassionate towards animals. Dr. Grace Kemp is wonderful with pets. I would definiterly recommend this veterinary for anyone looking.
